Michaan's April Estate Auction features seminal artwork images, an over 240 lot jewelry selection and multiple estate lot collections of fine quality. Among Fine Art estate offerings are paintings, sculpture, photographs and graphics; Jewelry often features period selections, timepieces, natural jadeite jade and quality diamonds; 20th Century Design lots commonly offer modern and contemporary artisan furniture, lighting and decorative objects and the Furniture and Decorative Arts section of the sale often includes silver, rugs and carpets, glassware, porcelains, figurines and American and European furniture. Select Asian works of art have also been chosen for Michaan's monthly sales, with fine jade carvings, porcelains, bronzes, glassware, scrolls and textiles often seen at auction. Selected highlights for the month of April include a Chesley Bonestell lithograph titled “New York, Central Building,” a Victorian 14 karat rose gold watch chain and a beautiful estate collection of crystal, silver and china tableware. Also of note is a selection of quality U.S. silver and gold coins as well as Chinese stamps. Please click on the “View press release” link below to learn more about these featured items.
