Select Asian works of art have also been chosen for Michaan's monthly sales, with fine jade carvings, porcelains and scrolls often seen at auction. Commonly held among Fine Art offerings are paintings and sculpture. The Furniture & Decorative Arts section regularly includes period decor and furniture. Highlights for the month of January include striking Antonio Pineda silver and obsidian necklaces, an original Chan Liu-Miao leather sculpture, a Eugene Garin oil painting titled "Crashing Waves" and striking Siamese Thai export sterling silver service pieces.
