Roll over for video transcript Two notable woodblock print artists are highlighted in a single lot in February's Asian offerings.  Woodblocks by Pieter Irwin Brown are represented in "Bei Hai, Peking" as well as in "Nan Hei, Peking".  Also professionally known as Pieter van Oort, the European illustrator is credited with influencing the shin hanga movement of the 1930s.  Accompanying the Brown pieces in the sale lot will be two small Utagawa Hiroshige landscape prints.  Revered as "the artist of rain, snow and mist," Hiroshige's catalog contains a classic display of beautifully crisp and vibrant images.  The Asian woodblock art lot will be sold on Saturday, February the 7 as lot 169 at an estimate of $600-800.
