The first of Michaan’s December 2015 fine sales presents an exciting auction event encompassing choice selections of jewelry, fine art, furnishings and decorative arts. Luxury items will be held within the Jewelry Department’s sale repertoire as well, highlighted by an authentic Hermès 32 cm rouge lizard Kelly bag at an estimate of $15,000-20,000. Spotlighting jewelry pieces is an AGL certified star sapphire, diamond and 14 karat white gold ring at an estimate of $30,000-50,000. The Charles Le Brun attributed Crossing the Red Sea stars in the fine art portion of the auction, offered for the first time since its research release at Michaan’s at an estimate of $500,000-700,000. Works from Tiffany Studios will illuminate the decorative art offerings, with a Tiffany Tyler Scroll Table Lamp at $15,000-20,000 and an extremely rare Tiffany Butterfly Lamp Pendant estimated at sale for $6,000-8,000. A superb and bountiful collection of 18th and 19th century English, Continental and French furniture, ceramics, silver and decorative arts will also be made available at sale.
