Also in the February sale are many options for brightening winter rooms, with a large number of chandeliers and lamps in various styles: rustic for your Tahoe cabin, wrought iron for a Wine Country look, Gothic hanging fixtures with “candles” for a Tudor or Mediterranean home. Interior designers, stagers and home renovators will find one-of-a-kind lighting and furniture pieces in a wide range of periods and price points: rugs, armoires, dining suites, accent tables and sculptures are just a few examples. Great buys can be found in all categories and include antique oak furniture, comfy recliners and cute floral sofas.
Framed art -- paintings, prints and photographs -- always attracts many bidders to the Annex sale, as do silver and glass tableware and Asian artifacts. February holds many interesting lots for stamp collectors. Collectable toys, pottery, coins, and memorabilia are typically offered every month at the Annex. Vintage clothing for ladies and men, handmade quilts, rare books and old vinyl records may also be available. Visit Michaan's on Preview days and leave absentee bids, or raise your paddle at the two-day auction to take home fabulous Annex finds.
