Unique finds for a spring home decor makeover await bidders at Michaan's Annex in April. Mid-Century teak, Arts and Crafts oak, Queen Anne style burl wood and contemporary upholstered pieces... the selection is vast and varied in this two-day sale of over 2,000 lots of estate property. Wrought iron, garden statuary and framed art are perennial favorites, as are Turkish, Persian, and Chinese rugs. Stamps and coins will be featured in April's Annex auction, where collectors will find several lots of historical gold plated US coins by American Mint, and a large lot of approximately 200 Asian coins from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and China. Mint and used stamps from the 19th and 20th centuries will be offered in albums and dealer sheets, and on envelopes. A highlight is the lot of seven albums of Israel stamps with many mint never-hinged tab sets.
The large assortment of jewelry will include jade, amber, sterling silver and gold, antique and vintage pieces, costume lots including the high quality “Lunch at the Ritz” brand, and many attractive bead necklaces from the estate of an avid collector and jewelry maker. Native American and ethnic jewelry will be offered, as will the popular bag lots of assorted costume jewelry. Asian art collectors will find porcelains, decorative objects and much more. Visit the Annex on preview days and leave absentee bids, or join the fun at the live auction Tuesday and Wednesday, April 4 and 5. Annex visitors enjoy ample parking.
