Its lovely figural scene of a woman in a classical landscape is beautifully executed in various Tiffany glass specialties including drapery glass, ripple glass and marbleized glass. Roland Petersen’s enigmatic 1966 oil on canvas “Tea for Two” ($25,000-$30,000) is another top highlight. Discover the exuberant art of the Bay Area’s Roy de Forest (1930-2007), with two vivid 1970s pastels offered at $3,000-$5,000 each. “New Moon” by Peter Max ($4,000-$6,000) expands December’s visionary theme. A 1977 Rolling Stones promotional 45 with cover art by Andy Warhol is offered at $800-$1,000. The vibe extends to vintage furnishings such as the teak coffee table by Georg Jensen for Kubus ($400-$600). A 62” bust of Buddha carved from lava stone is estimated at $1,500-$2,500. Asian art objects include period jade, cinnabar, textiles and bronzes from China and Japan. Fabulous fine jewels — a 10 carat diamond ring ($15,000-$25,000) and a “Tutti Frutti” style multi-stone bib necklace ($50,000-$80,000) — will be sold through a charitable foundation, proceeds to provide shelter for homeless Californians and drinking water in Haiti. An Art Deco diamond and platinum bracelet from a San Francisco estate is offered at $4,000-$6,000. 2751 Todd Street, Alameda, CA 94501 Michaan's Auctions info@michaans.com false MM/DD/YYYYGallery Showroom, 2751 Todd Street, Alameda, CA
